What is included in our DPC membership?

LakelandMD operates on a Direct Primary Care (DPC) model where we can offer our services directly to our members—without an insurance company in the middle—in exchange for an affordable monthly fee. The membership fee allows our patients to access a variety of primary care, including consultations, exams, care coordination, and some lab services, without paying any additional fees. Other items such as lab work, medications, and X-ray imaging are provided at cost to the member, which significantly lowers their medical expenses. Because we don't have to deal with health insurance paperwork or bureaucracy, we spend less time and money on administrative tasks while members get to pay one monthly fee and have all of their primary care covered, without having to worry about deductibles or separate copays.

Examples of covered services*:

• Acute and non-acute office visits

• Chronic disease management (e.g. diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease)

• Preventive care

• Annual wellness visits

• Well-woman care

• Behavioral health

• Sports physicals

• School physicals

• Smoking cessation

• Healthy lifestyle counseling

• Removal of benign skin lesions / warts

• Simple dermatology procedures

• Aspiration and/or injection of joints

• Abscess incision and drainage

• Wound repair and sutures

• Ear wax removal

• Trigger point injection

*Any other services or products may be charged separately, such as IV therapy, peptides, etc.
